Victoria DorityRecruiter, Century 21 Masters
“There are people who are talented at what they do, and there are people that are talented at bringing that same greatness out of others. Grant is both.”
In my time at Century 21 Masters, I had the absolute pleasure of having Grant Myatt as my boss, mentor, and coach.
I walked in on my first day, knowing nothing about recruiting or sales. Within two days, Grant had me up and running. In the weeks that followed, he spent hours sitting with me, listening to my calls, giving me feedback, teaching scripts, and showing me not only what I could do better, but how to believe that I could do it.
That is what makes Grant different. He doesn’t just teach people how to recruit; he builds people up.
Day after day, I watched everyone’s face light up, when Grant walked into the room or joined a meeting. I have never met someone so genuinely supportive, kind, and excited for other people’s success. When you succeed, Grant celebrates it like it is his own. When you struggle, he is the person who sits beside you, figures out what you need, and helps you find your confidence again.
Grant knows recruiting like the back of his hand, but what I learned from him is that great recruiting starts with great leadership. He understands that success is about so much more than making calls, hitting contact numbers, or reaching a goal. It is about people, making them feel supported, challenging them to become better, and believing in them before they fully believe in themselves.
No matter how busy Grant was, I never felt like I was an inconvenience. If I needed help, he made time. If I needed coaching, he coached me. If I needed encouragement, he would give it to me without hesitation. He became the coach everyone naturally leaned on because you know that when Grant gave you his time, he was completely invested in helping you succeed.
His coaching made me better at recruiting, but his impact on me went far beyond my job. Grant pushed me outside of my comfort zone, helped me find confidence in myself, and taught me lessons that I will carry into every aspect of my life and career.
There are people who are talented at what they do, and there are people that are talented at bringing that same greatness out of others. Grant is both. His passion for recruiting is undeniable, but his genuine love for developing people is what makes him an exceptional coach and an even better leader.
I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from him, and I can confidently say I would not be the recruiter or the person I am today without his coaching.
