Grant Myatt is Director of Recruiting at Century 21 Masters, where he leads the recruiting of real estate agents and loan officers for the company and its partner, 21st Century Lending. He also hires and coaches the recruiters on his team, and he is writing his first book, Cracks In The Armor.
Grant grew up in Murrieta, California, around a family real estate business — so expectations were high. His first internship at Century 21 Masters came in 2020, while he was earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Biola University, where he made the Dean's List. He graduated in 2023 and went all-in on recruiting.
It did not start well. Grant went five months without recruiting a single person. Rather than accept that he had failed, he decided he hadn't won yet. He became relentlessly coachable, made the calls others avoided, and learned to ask the questions that reveal what a top producer really wants.
The results followed. Asked to open the San Diego market in 2024, Grant met with agents representing $50 million in production within weeks. In September 2025, he recruited two loan officers and three producing agents to the Central Coast in a single month, the first producing agents to sign on there in years. Today he runs a recruiting operation tailored to every kind of professional, from new agents to top producers, team leaders, and lenders.
Colleagues describe Grant as a leader who builds people up. He sits beside new recruiters on their calls, teaches scripts, and celebrates their wins as his own. Cracks In The Armor distills those lessons into a practical, honest guide for recruiters, brokers, and anyone whose job is to inspire people toward a bigger future.
Outside of work, Grant serves as a youth small-group leader at his church, where faith and service shape how he leads. He is based in Southern California.
